Wave Bound a college entrance preparation workshops seeks middle and high school students
Program focuses on preparing ethnically diverse and under-represented middle and high school students for the college entrance process.
ATLANTA (February 7, 2009) – RIPPLE institute announces a call for applications for its Wave Bound college entrance program Spring 2009 class. RIPPLE institute inc. realized that there are many students in the Metro Atlanta and DeKalb County area that wanted to go to college but didn’t have a structured, low cost program to help prepare them to get there. Wave Bound is free to all 7th through 12th grade students in part due to our partnership with Kaplan and DeKalb County Commissioner Lee May.
Wave Bound offers its participants information pertaining to the college process. This information will include standardized tests, financial aid, choosing a college, an overview of what engineering is, and a panel to answer any questions. Students at all score-levels will benefit from the targeted, personalized approach at Wave Bound, such as concrete ways to achieve their dreams, bring joy and meaning to their chosen careers while maintaining high standards of excellence.
We will be offering the following practice exams at DeKalb County, Manuel J. Maloof Center Auditorium 1300 Commerce Drive, Decatur, GA 30030:
